I love to feel the sunshine on my face and travel has always been particular passion of mine. I feel so grateful to have lived such a full life and my mantra is life is for living.

Mr. T (the hubby) finds my glass-full approach to life rather annoying at times, but what can I say I am a woman who chooses to focus my energy on the things I can control, and that works well for me in my life and in my role as a celebrant!

I started out my career in Social Work in 1998 and fell into management very (too!) quickly. My professional career to date has been diverse, however no matter the role, my focus has always been to enhance the rights and well-being of others. And that is what brought me to my current role in 2021.

Becoming a celebrant was something I always wanted and planned to do, but with having my family it was essentially a time and place thing. I knew when I qualified, I wanted no half measures and would definitely say I am an all-in type of lassie!

As a human, I am passionate, principled, and optimistic. I wholeheartedly believe in diversity, inclusion, and moving in the world without making judgments. My approach is always empathic, honest, and direct. I love to laugh, meet new people and endeavour to offer an ear, a shoulder, or support where I can.

And that’s about it really!
